Sunday Post: Another Year Ending and Other Bookish Updates

I can't believe that 2019 is almost over. I am so sad that I did not get to a lot of my goals this year, I was only able to read 27 books so far and I don't think I could reach my goal of 50 but I will definitely try to do my best to do that. I also have a lot of plans for my blog that did not materialize but there's still next year so I don't feel too bad about that. I will also try to finish the books recommended to me by

With her keen eye for human nature and a knack for finding clues in the most unlikely places. Just like her namesake flower, she may be delicate and unassuming, but her wit and wisdom make her a force to be reckoned with in the world of crime-solving. Unveiling My Literary Treasures: My All-Time Favorite Books That Captivated My Soul

Around ten years ago, when I began delving into reading more seriously and keeping track of the books I read, I came across most of the books on this list. It's worth noting that my ratings may seem a bit skewed, as not all of them are rated with the highest five-star rating. This is because I have specific criteria for my ratings. Naturally, I have my biases towards certain genres or tropes.  Out of the 343 books on my shelf, I have selected 15 that have earned either a five-star or four-star rating. These books represent the cream of the crop, so to speak, an
